Position Summary: Associate Project Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as technician for performing cadastral mapping related work necessary for the preparations of legal descriptions and maps for lands which real property rights are to be acquired, sold, transferred or conveyed.
• Knowledge of executive approval process and map exhibits.
• Knowledge of TVA’s GIS Property viewer, Tririga and tract numbering processes.
• Reviews land descriptions and contracts for completeness and accuracy and provides GIS polygons as well as denotes discrepancies in source materials and recommend steps to provide corrections and revisions.
• Makes mathematical computations primarily utilizing trigonometric and algebraic principles and check complex mathematical computations of others.
• Provides complex GIS metadata matching with scanned maps and photos using Metadata Editor EB
• Creates Geo-spatial polygon tracts from Tririga workflow requests, may require geo-referencing maps using Corpscon.
• Other GIS/cadastral work necessary at management request.
• Adhere to applicable standard processes and procedures.

Key Requirements, Education, and Experience:

• AS degree or higher in Surveying/GIS/Civil Technology, or related field preferred.
• Production experience with ESRI/ArcPro, or similar computer-aided mapping software
• Ten or more years of relevant experience required.
