Job Summary: RSI is currently seeking an Analytical Project Manager (APM). The APM is responsible for providing technical support to a wide variety of projects including water quality monitoring, landfill operations, deactivation and demolition (D&D), waste disposition, and remedial actions. Familiarity with regulatory drivers and data quality criteria for Superfund sites and CERCLA cleanup actions is desired.
The APM serves as the liaison between the project and the contract analytical laboratory. This position requires a broad knowledge of analytical techniques employed in characterization of multiple media types, knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements affecting analytical data, and an aptitude for using numerous software applications (databases, spreadsheets, word processing). Programming is not required; however, a basic understanding of database queries is beneficial.
The APM is required to communicate effectively with project and laboratory personnel who possess varying technical backgrounds.
