Position Summary
RSI is seeking a Corporate Recruiter to join our team in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. This individual will handle the full life cycle of talent acquisition activities including posting positions, identifying and attracting qualified candidates, partnering with hiring managers, coordinating interviews, supporting onboarding activities, as well as participating in job fairs and recruiting events. This is an onsite position in Oak Ridge, TN.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identifies and attracts potential candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and professional networks; screens resumes and conducts initial phone or video interviews to assess qualifications and fit.
- Manages the interview process, schedules and conducts interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
- Collaborates with departmental and hiring managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Manages all candidate interactions.
- Builds strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and business partners.
- Develops a candidate pipeline, assesses applications, and maintains all applicant data in the Applicant Tracking System.
- Tracks key talent metrics and identifies insights.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent acquisition.
- Networks to recruit active and passive candidates for current positions and build talent pipelines for future career opportunities; attends career fairs and outreach activities as needed.
- Ensures a strong online presence including LinkedIn, Indeed, Zip Recruiter and more.
- Assists with designing and deploying talent acquisition initiatives like hiring events and university relations
- Develop relationships with key schools and other area organizations for recruiting partnerships in addition to working with direct employers.
- Actively gains knowledge on recruiting trends, understanding how they align with business priorities.
- Files HR records/documents in accordance with the corporate record retention policy.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Performs or assists with other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, Human Resources, or related field is strongly preferred. Must have a minimum 3-5 years of applicable experience.
Job Knowledge/Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for positions related to Department of Energy, National Nuclear Security Administration, or other federal or federal contractor roles is a plus.
- Experience in using Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Able to multi-task, have demonstrated organizational, detail orientation, prioritization and time management skills.
- Able to enthusiastically fosters a teamwork/open-door policy
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information.
- Solid communication skills to effectively deal with various levels of management, staff, and/or outside contacts.
- Experience in using LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Office, and HRIS systems.
- Understand key policies or legal practices that could impact business decisions.
- Understand company handbook and policies and can apply these in execution of job duties.
