Position Summary

RSI is recruiting for a Disclosure & Litigation Support Analyst who understands the principles, concepts, and techniques in the field of managing records and enterprise content management systems (ECM), through all phases of their life cycle including creation, collection, maintenance, use, and disposition.

 

Job Title: Disclosure & Litigation Support Analyst
Location(s): Various Locations
Status: Full-Time
FLSA: Exempt
Hiring Range: $85,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year. (The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The offered salary will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.)

 

This position is required to travel less than 5% of the time.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ability to perform complex RIM tasks.
  • Works with broad objectives to determine the best way to accomplish tasks.
  • Maintains and updates equipment as needed to meet day-to-day workflow.
  • Employ standardized automated workflow for records processing and retrieval.
  • Track weekly production status.
  • Retrieval of requested materials for preparation and staging of documents following our internal guidelines.
  • Identification of relevant documents as described on the scanning spreadsheet and by the requestor.
  • Organize and narrow documents to meet the scope of what is requested so that business continues to operate without interruptions.
  • Scanning, QC, and properly uploading the documents for the request team.
  • Ensure all proper contents are included in the request folder.
  • Meet deadlines of requests that have short turnaround times.
  • Identify problems related to job duties and suggest and implement process improvements related to position and/or department.
  • Assist in litigation support processing as needed to meet the requests of DOE GC, our litigation support team, requests pertaining to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA), and other various eDiscovery projects.
  • Coordinate with the request team to complete ORAU projects for NIOSH and other organizations requiring the digitization of large medical radiation personal files.
  • Assist in monthly reporting and deliverables as needed.
  • Train and cross-train other employees needing to step in and help on other requests.
  • Increase knowledge via training outlets such as Learning Nucleus, Microsoft Learn, and ARMA.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information management, scientific discipline or related field. Experience in lieu of education considered.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. Experience including, but not limited to records management, library science, scientific discipline, document and knowledge management, training, and archiving, creation, collection, indexing, digitizing, transportation, and storage of records.

 

Licenses and Certifications

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Level of language skills, communications skills, reasoning ability, technical skills, and computer skills necessary to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Understands the basic principles, concepts, and techniques for managing records through all phases of the lifecycle.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Provides superior professionalism and customer service.
  • Ability to perform complex professional tasks both independently and as a team and to analyze and develop innovative solutions to problems.
  • Proficient computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint and scanning.

Essential Physical Requirements

Light: Work involves moving objects by exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force constantly. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for sedentary work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job/occupation is rated for light work when it requires (1) a significant degree of walking or standing, (2) mostly sitting while pushing or pulling arm or leg controls, or (3) working when the weight of the materials is negligible. (The constant stress and strain of maintaining a production-rate pace, especially in an industrial setting, is physically demanding of a worker even though the amount of force exerted is negligible).
