RSI is recruiting a Recruitment Specialist to join our corporate team in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The Recruitment Specialist will handle recruiting from start to finish to include, but not limited to, posting position, collaborate with managers, coordinate interviews, prepare offer letters, provide onboarding experience, as well as attend job fairs and recruiting events.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES: Primary responsibilities and essential functions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Manage all candidate interactions.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with all areas of the business.
  • Build strong relationships with candidates, hiring managers and business partners.
  • Develop a candidate pipeline and assess applications using our tracking system.
  • Maintain all applicant data in the HR Applicant System.
  • Track key talent metrics and identify insights.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in talent acquisition.
  • Network to recruit active and passive candidates for current positions and build talent pipelines for future career opportunities (attend career fairs & outreach activities as needed)
  • Ensure a strong online presence including LinkedIn, Indeed, Zip Recruiter and more.
  • Assist with designing and deploying talent acquisition initiatives like hiring events, university relations, etc.
  • Develop relationships with key schools and other area organizations for recruiting partnerships in addition to working with Direct Employers.
  • Actively gain knowledge on recruiting trends, understanding how they align with business priorities.
  • Timely completes employee new hire setups, enters applicable information into Sage People.
  • Manages the employee inquiries to the HR shared inbox for general accounting and HR related questions. Distributes complex questions and issues to the appropriate accounting or HR contact, as needed.
  • Drafts new hire offers letters, increase memos and promotions for review and approval. Obtain memo signatures as needed.
  • Assists with scheduling interviews for corporate positions or with the UCOR or TVA Program Manager as needed.
  • Files HR records/documents in accordance with the AIS record retention policy.
  • Assists with maintaining system integrity through performing audits on HR data, including hiring and termination.
  • Reconciles HR records/billings, as needed.
  • Performs general administrative duties including drafting letters and obtaining approval signatures for memos, requisitions & required forms.
  • Assists with pulling employee data reports for processes such as AAP, OFCCP, ACA and manager requests.
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
  • Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Scanning/digitizing documents.
  • New Hire and Job-Related Data Change Checklist Reviews
  • Performs or assists with other duties as assigned

 

Technical knowledge, certifications/licenses and software proficiency required:

  • Microsoft Office
  • HRMS experience, Sage People is a plus.
  • Experience in using Applicant Tracking Systems, Applicant Stack is a plus.
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Recruiter.

Education required:

Bachelor’s degree in business management, Human Resources, or related field is strongly preferred with 6-10 years of applicable experience.
