Position Summary
RSI is recruiting for a HR Generalist who will be responsible for supporting the overall HR function within an organization by providing a wide range of HR services and support to employees and management. This includes tasks such as recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, policy implementation, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. The objective is to ensure that the organization has a skilled and motivated workforce, effective HR policies and procedures, and a positive work environment that aligns with the company's goals and values.

Hiring Range: $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year. (The anticipated starting salary is based on the posted minimum requirements for this position. The salary offered will be based upon the selected applicant’s education, training, and experience.)
This position requires less than 10% of travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists with the development and administration of HR programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the company and contract.
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems. Assist in establishing departmental measures that support the accomplishment of the company and contract’s strategic goals.
- Responsible for the recruitment process for designated positions to include posting positions, reviewing applications; attends/conducts interviews when necessary; manage job offers, conduct onboarding of all new hires, etc. working closely with hiring managers.
- Accountability for keeping and maintaining up to date accurate information for the ELO Database – Spreadsheet.
- Responsible for managing staffing and recruiting strategies for assigned recruitment.
- Maintains communication with hiring managers, regularly follows up on the status of open positions, and provides guidance and support to address outstanding matters.
- Assists and participates in employee concerns, issues, disciplinary actions, and investigations as requested. Gives sound advice to management team related to employee issues. Advises management team in the correct and legal process. Keeps Sr. HR Manager informed of issues and resolutions in an effective, accurate, and in a timely manner.
- Participates in organization wide committees as directed by HR lead and/or Sr. HR Manager.
- Maintains knowledge of all federal and state laws and regulations related to Title VII, FLSA; FMLA, benefit-related, etc.
- Understands and accurately interprets routine Human Resources policies and procedures as needed for communicating information to employees and management.
- Support other HR staff members with projects, workload, etc. as needed or directed by HR lead and/or Sr. HR Manager.
- Compiles reports from the HRIS databases as needed for LMS contract.
- Support main point of contact in responding to LMSP reasonable accommodation requests.
- Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) that can be seen as someone who is reliable, upholds confidentiality, and is trustworthy.
- Exhibits a solid understanding of compensation factors and mechanisms.
- Support main point of contact in responding to company FMLA/STD issues. Send general information email to ASRC about employees and receive weekly FMLA reports from ASRC in response. Share weekly FMLA reports with LMS Accounting, Occ Med, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Years of Relevant Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, business or related field.
- Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
Licenses and Certifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.

Essential Physical Requirements
Sedentary: Work involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
