Position Summary:

RSI is seeking a Senior SharePoint & M365 Systems Administrator to support the Savannah River Site (SRS) Project Management Office (PMO). The position is responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing a centralized Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint collaboration environment that supports multi-level project execution within a regulated DOE environment.

The role includes system administration, workflow automation, user support coordination, and ensuring compliance with applicable DOE information management and cybersecurity requirements.
 

Position Details

  • Location: Savannah River Site (SRS), Aiken, SC
  • Work Environment: DOE PMO collaboration system support
  • Travel: Limited, as required

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain a complex SharePoint Online and Microsoft Office 365 collaboration environment supporting PMO operations
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain SharePoint sites, pages, and system components
  • Design and maintain workflow automations using Power Automate
  • Provide IT support coordination and serve as a liaison with DOE Help Desk services
  • Support enterprise IT systems including desktop, mobile, and associated business productivity tools
  • Ensure proper handling of sensitive and controlled information in accordance with DOE and federal requirements
  • Support IT lifecycle management, planning, and system enhancement initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with applicable cybersecurity, information assurance, and system control requirements

 Requirements and Education:

  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint administration including experience creating, deploying, and maintaining complex SharePoint Pages and Objects in an M365 production environment.
  • Experience managing enterprise-level collaboration platforms
  • Experience developing and maintaining SharePoint sites and components in production environments
  • Experience developing and deploying workflow automation solutions (e.g., Power Automate) in an M365 environment
  • Experience supporting an office IT environment or IT helpdesk functions that required frequent integration with end users needing support.
  • Experience managing sensitive or controlled data an IT environment and ensuring compliance with all legal requirements and rules
  • Working level knowledge of Microsoft Copilot AI and Copilot integrations within M365.
  • Working level knowledge of AI tools and integration into office workflows.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools, including Microsoft Copilot.
  • Experience programming with HTML, SQL, and necessary programming languages to create data extractions for dashboarding and creating complex process workflows within the constraints of a DOE/NNSA government environment.

Preferred Requirements and Education:

  • Experience supporting DOE or NNSA IT governance, acquisition, or compliance activities
  • Familiarity with FAR Part 39 and DOE Order 413.3A
  • Familiarity with DOE cybersecurity requirements (DOE O 205.1B, DOE P 470.1, FISMA)

Clearance and Health Regiments

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DOE L (Secret) clearance
  • Ability to obtain SRS site access badge
  • Background check and pre-employment drug screening required
