Position Summary

RSI EnTech is currently recruiting a Business Support Representative for our client supporting the Kingston Fossil Plant. The Business Support Representative requires good communications skills that exude a positive, customer-oriented attitude.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Performs day-to-day clerical duties in the construction management trailer. Keeps and distributes meeting minutes and ensures minutes are placed on the project server keys POs and work orders in Maximo.
  • Reconciles credit card statements and prepares them for CM review and approval. Processes hire-in forms (40156) and termination/transfer forms (40157). Records man-hours for each project onsite.
  • Gathers cost data from COGNOS and PMs PCS for CM review.
  • Ensures office is adequately stocked with appropriate office supplies.
  • Keeps inventory and makes regular orders of what is needed.
  • Keeps training records of CM staff on file.
  • Serves as point of contact in construction management trailer for visitors.
  • Drive capital/O&M projects to closure via the TPS & EPMO process.
  • Track project closure progress and ensure movement from one step to the other.
  • Upon notification from PM that the project is ready to close, ensures all project obligations/tasks are complete, verify invoices have been received and paid, all labor charges have been received and paid, all closing documentation is prepared and submitted for approval, and any other duties necessary to achieve project closure.

 

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or financial/business field with three(3) to five (5) years of experience is preferred.
  • Will consider associate’s degree in a technical or financial/business field with additional experience.

 

Job Knowledge/Qualifications

  • Administrative experience.
  • Has tracked and driven projects/tasks to conclusion.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and good at preparing status reports.
  • Written and oral communications skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Coordination and collaboration skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
